This years’ most anticipated showbiz phenomenon, Danceworld is proud to present JAZZIN’ – Live * Love * Dance 2015.

Reflecting Colombo’s revival of explosive entertainment, mind-blowing creativity and a pivotal period of artistic expression JAZZIN’ is Danceworld’s contribution to a fever that is attracting every type of crowd, from every walk of life.

It is a dance spectacle of epic proportions with over 80 dancers featuring over 25 hits from all genres of the entertainment spectrum. This years JAZZIN’ performance – aptly titled JAZZIN’ - Live, Love, Dance – showcases legendary hits from Disney classics to modern hip hop, from the golden era to the silver screen. It is a musical journey that opens in the searing Plains of Africa and takes you to the biting cold mountains of Antarctica. It flies into the heart of Brazil’s Rainforest and drops you into the urban ghettos - while “keepin’ it real” on the streets of New York. Evolving music, graceful dancers and stunning scenery blend seamlessly to take you through personal reflection, spiritual growth, heartbreaking goodbyes and triumphant returns.

Jazzin’ is an adventure of hard work, dedication and teamwork by the astoundingly talented performers at Danceworld School of Modern, Jazz and Ballet. Leading this extraordinary group of individuals is Sureka Buell as its Director and Principal Choreographer. Under her watchful eye and pinpoint attention to detail each dancer – some as young as just 6 years old – is painstakingly and patiently coaxed into giving this show their very best. Sureka’s commitment to consistency, co-operation and creativity allows each member of this group to flourish and blossom to astonishing results. In close collaboration with the unbelievably talented and exceedingly gifted Deshana, this duo creates a show for the audience that is powerful and potent; an energy that beats with you long after the curtains have closed. Sharing a common vision with Sureka is Shaan Deen as Producer, who is in Sureka’s eyes, a rare paradoxical genius and a passionate advocate for her vision of the show.

Jazzin’ this year has more hits, more moves and more passion than ever before. It is an event that highlights Colombo’s Cultural Season with pumping tracks and thumping moves that will leave you breathless and cheering for more.
