James Ferreira launched his limited edition collection of clothing exclusively at Cotton Collection, yesterday (10 May) evening. His collection was showcased by India’s super models. 

 

James Ferreira, India’s premium designer’s design philosophy ‘It will end like it began, with a piece of cloth’, is instantaneously recognizable in his flowing garments; from a weave to a drape, to a cut, and finally a silhouette. 

 

James Ferreira’s collection for Cotton Collection was showcased at Colombo Fashion Week earlier this year. Captivating the local audience with his modern line of clothing for men and women, James used a vibrant hue of colour in pure silks for a line of evening dresses for women and a line of colourfully dyed shirts for men. His collection was a simple and chic collection concentrating on drape and cut, embellished with long strands of beads.
