No we are not talking about the new sitcom but the actual colour orange and whether it has replaced our oh-so-reliable black attire.
The citrus hue is having its presence in the runway this spring 2014 and it is a colour you cannot simply avoid and would definitely be giving the traditional black a bit of a rest this season.
While it is indeed challenging to pull off an outfit in orange from head to toe, it is yet a daring option that one should try out, but it must be said that when combining outfits with hints of orange has always been the easy way out.
Designers have paired orange dresses, tops, shoes and bags with numerous prints and fabrics but the most liked would be the florals since it complements the season.
This trend is not only for evening wear but for work and casual wear as well.
Even Pantone has introduced a tropical, floral-inspired shade for 2014 which is called Celosia Orange and it is described as an optimistic, spontaneous hue.
A suggestion to pair this vibrant celosia orange is with violet tulip for a captivating vision, which is much like the setting summer sun.
With orange being given prominence this season why not give that staple black attire a rest and bring more colour back into your wardrobe even though it would be some risky business.
