Little Asia Emporium (Pvt) Ltd. hosted a special fashion show to celebrate the opening of their newest textile store located at No. 73, 75 A, Main Street, Colombo 11, on the 1st of June. The colourful and glamorous event held at the premises of the new five story building was graced by the presence of many distinguished guests that included parliamentarians as well as renowned Indian and local stars.

The press briefing, which began at 4:30 p.m. led to the opening of the Fashion Show, which showcased many cutting-edge trends prevalent in the fashion world today. All guests were enchanted by the colourful and charming selections that were designed by top Indian designers and fashioned by popular and leading Sri Lankan models.

The fashion show was choreographed by Chula, who is well known for her versatile and breathtaking performances while the hair and makeup was done by Thushara De Soyza, a leading beautician and hairdresser in Sri Lanka.

The designs at the Fashion Show included a vibrant and stylish range of shalwars, sarees and gent’s wear that left the audience captivated by the beauty and intricate details that adorned the designs. However, the prominent theme of the event was bridal wear for both the bride and the groom. The bridal wear included designs suited for each religion and culture in the country. Beautiful colours infused with delicate designs dominated the bridal wear segment of the Fashion Show, which showcased versatility coupled with elegance. 

The hour long Fashion Show offered a glimpse of what the new store of Little Asia Emporium has in store for its trusted clientele.
