Boutique store ‘Glamour D’ is an all about supplying the most fashionable jewelry to all woman at the most reasonble price. The store was set up on Facebook in late 2012 by budding entrepreneur and fashionista, Dineshika Nanayakkara to target the tech savvy genration who prefer shopping online to save valuable time.
Specializing in mostly accessories, the store houses a wide range of vintage and contemporary collections of jewelry such as necklaces, rings and earing to suit all ages.

To gaurentee top notch stylish quality products for all her customers, Dineshika goes through a very thorough process before making orders for the store, “I prefer to do a simple analysis first on the current market in Sri Lanka to see what’s trendy and what would please the customer, then I personally pick the quantity and the items which would be most suitable for that market. Most of the items are soured from Bangkok, Singapore, Malaysia etc.” She said.

The store does occasionally offer big sales and discounts on items depending on quantity and demand. For example, If a customer is willing to buy in bulk, they would be offered a 5 to10% discount of that particular purchases. Frequent buyers are also offered such discounts.
With Sinhala and Tamil New Year just round the corner, Glamour D will be offering a New Year Sale with big discouts till the 31st of April.

Talking about the customer feedback, Dineshika said, “Since I opened the store, the customers have been very satified and some of the best feedback I have received, is that the jewellry they purchased has was worth their money. From the day I opened the store, up to today, I’ve been very satisfied with the stable growth. I can’t say it’s booming growth but it’s definitely a satisfactory progress.”

To order from the store, simply messgae the item code number of each product and Dineshika will get back to you with regards to payment. Depending on customer location, she will personally deliver the items or arrange a courier service for delivery.

The future of the store certainly looks bright as plans are in motion to start a website for the store and adding more varied stylish collections to the store.
