Kelly Felder has always been upto the latest trends in vogue, matching the standards of every fashion conscious woman in town. The weekly collections introduced by them turn the place into a hub for retail therapy with lasting appeal.
There’s something very special though, about their latest collection in store called the “Week 4 Collection.” You will join hands with Kelly Felder’s initiative to fight cancer when you purchase from this collection, as you will donate Rs. 300 for every Rs. 1000 spent on this collection to upgrade the facilities at the National Cancer Institute via collaboration with the Colours of Courage Trust.
The Colours of Courage Trust was founded in 2008 with the aim of uplifting facilities at the National Cancer Institute in Maharagama, with all its proceeds being directed towards the building of the Medical and Surgical Intensive Care units.
The Trust found great success in “Trail”, a 670 km walk covering the Island lengthways, from the Southern-most to the Northern-most point.
Trail was held with the objective of raising US$ 2 million to build a Cancer hospital in the North to benefit patients from the surrounding areas, that is, the North, North Central, North West and the Eastern provinces.
The team behind Trail reaped the fruits of its efforts as it opened the Tellipalai Cancer Hospital on the 19th of this month, giving a better start and renewed hope in the New Year for patients in its circumference.
The hospital is a fully equipped state-of-the-art center.
As you shop at Kelly Felder you will contribute towards a very worthy cause spearheaded by a team that has formerly been beyond successful in similar ventures.
Apart from looking fabulous, it is great to know that money you spent on what would otherwise be considered indulgent is in fact being directed towards healing a life.
