Writer and Make-Up Artist Dinasha Alles describes herself as a ‘free spirit’. Being self-employed, her time’s her own and has the liberty to travel whenever she finds herself nudged to. Here’s her list of the world’s hotspots.

1. Where is your favourite holiday destination?
I’ve got lots of favourite places. But I guess if I had a gun to my head I would say California.
2. What are the most interesting things to do there?
That’s exactly why California is one of my favourite places, purely because you probably couldn’t find a place on earth with more things to do than in Caifornia!
The list is pretty much endless, from experiencing the somewhat sedate theme parks like Disney, Universal and Knotts Berry there’s also the mecca for thrill seekers known as 6 Flags Magic Mountain which boasts of some of the highest most insane roller coasters in the world. Then there’s Hollywood with all its glitz and glam, and of course there’s Vegas!
3. What is the most breathtaking place you’ve visited?
I guess it would be the island of Koh Tao in Koh Samui. It was simply stunning, crystal clear turquoise waters teeming with marine life and gorgeous coral reefs surrounded by boulders peeping out of the ocean. Tao was by far one of the most gorgeous beaches I’ve ever been to, so it gets my vote! Mesmerizing!
4. Where is your home-away-from-home?
My home away from home would probably be Dubai since I go there so often. Some of my best friends live there so being in Dubai just feels like being at home, if home were dipped in gold that is!
5. Who is your ideal travel companion? What qualities do you look for?
I do most of my traveling with my husband and a few of my adventurous friends, I like traveling with people who aren’t afraid to experience 
new things.
6. In what ways does travel inspire you?
Travel opens up my imagination, it allows me to experience other cultures, people and places, which in turn broadens my mind and keeps me feeling alive, there’s so much flavor and colour out there in the world. You’ve got to get out and experience it!
7. Where are you thinking of travelling next?
I’m a little obsessed with Sharks. So next on my bucket list is South Africa where I plan to cage dive with Great whites! If the Sharks don’t kill me, my mom will after reading this!
8. What is the one thing you never travel without?
My Cameras! Yes plural! I’m known as a bit of a trigger happy clicker!

America, Dubai,

Most recently former deputy prime mister of Australia advised Australians to not to visit that country after Australian jogging on the road been shot dead by five youth. Reason: they were bored it seem. A country carry guns in one hand and the other bible by 99% of their population is most unhealthy place to visit. And top that 85% of their population is suffering from paranoid schizophrenia
