How did you guys find your way to each other? The chemistry amongst you'll is electrifying. How did that come about?
The common love to play the songs we like to hear and the style of each member complementing each other has brought the members to one another. The combination of the energy that that we each put in, in our own way has made us the way we are.
How do you decide on the songs you want to perform? Do you go with what works best or do you play favourites?
We like to play favourites but with our own touch to it. We do like to experiment between different styles of music. However, we judge the audience preferences at each gig and select the songs as we go.
How tough is to improvise and perfect a particular performance?
Most covers we play have been changed to match our style. So it is always challenging to select a song that we like and change it to fit our audiences.
With work, performing five days a week and life, how do you guys find time to practice?
Finding the time to practice is quite difficult at times but we usually find the time once a week to practice. This is the time that brings us all together to express our feelings musically and let loose to let creativity take over.
What do you all love to perform on a regular basis?
We love to play alternative rock mostly but we play a wide variety of hit songs from 70's to now.
What audiences stimulate you to perform better?
We love to play to crowds that are appreciative and their energy feeds us to do better on stage.
Most unforgettable day/ moment you commonly shared?
Key events for the band would be tours we have done to India and Thailand and the release of our EP launch.
Will we be able to hear music of your own soon?
We are in the process of recording an album. Few songs have been done already and hope that we will be able to release it soon.
Next big step for The Slipping Chairs?
Our next big step is to be recognized internationally. So we can take our music to audiences that we have never performed to.
