How has the journey been so far? 

The journey has been a fast paced and very dynamic one. There is never a dull moment. There is lots to do and always more to learn and improve on. 

Who are your ambassadors? 

​Who better to be an ambassador and represent us than our talent. the agency sri lanka  talent portfolio embodies what we believe in and is the integral component to achieving our mission. We have a diverse talent base ranging from all ages, backgrounds and skill sets. It is this diversity that gives us a competitive edge in the market.

What would you say is the biggest challenge in finding a good model? 

​Our biggest challenge is dealing with the general public's opinion and perspective of the modelling industry as a whole. We have to change the overall mindset of the profession and provide the necessary resources to make a real and positive difference. 

What are the other international modelling agencies you are affiliated with? 

We work with Prasad Bidapa Models (India), Unique One (Czech Republic), Wink Models(Australia) and Margo Fifa (Thailand). 

Tell me about the reality show you are working on. 

the agency search is an annual islandwide initiative to discover the next generation of models. Applications went up online, followed by the agency​ sri lanka's​ scouts scouring the island in search of promising candidates.​ We found a total of 16 candidates. T​hese ​candidates ​faced and ​competed ​​​in real-life industry challenges and assignments​ and their journey will unfold online as a reality ​​series​,​​ which will premiere next month​.​ ​The top ​male and female ​contender​​ will be signed by the agency​ sri lanka​, have their portfolio shot by a leading fashion photographer, walk for Colombo Fashion Week and secure a job assignment and training in India.​ ​​Follow us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/theagencysrilanka​ for more information and updates on the series.​​ 

What can we look forward to in the future? 

On the agency search front, after season 1, you will have season 2 to look forward to. On the agency side we have just signed Hollywood actor Fredrick James Koch, who will be launching his modelling career with us. Check our website and social media platforms for more details on this. We are also currently in the process of cementing relationships with a couple more exciting, international agencies, which we will reveal soon!
