When asked about his style ethos, Treshan says that ‘each person should have an individualized and a personalized style that makes them stands out among the rest.’
“You know what they say, a well-dressed dapper man always makes a statement!” he adds.
This week, Treshan shows us what outfits best defines his sense of style!
LOOK 1: Smart Casual
So this is a very cool, casual look with a mix of mid and high range brands. I’m wearing a casual blazer from Selected with a T shirt from Splash. The trousers and the shoes are from House of Fashion and I’ve worn it with a Louis Vuitton belt and Reymond Weil watch and completed the whole look with Ray Ban shades.
LOOK 2: Evening Function
A very Sri Lankan look. It’s a long sleeve black t shirt from ZARA and a custom made hand crafted silk sarong by Aayara. I love the sarong it’s so unique and hand painted and she only has one piece per design. I also chose to wear sandals with this outfit.
LOOK 3: Semi Casual
I think floral prints are edgy and very in these days. I take calculated risks when it comes to fashion and I think I did a good job with this one. This is a shirt from Hameedia and I wore it with trousers and ankle boots from ZARA. For accessories I have my Rado watch and I think it makes an edgy outfit look more edgy.
LOOK 4: Casual
This is a pair of jeans from Splash paired with a Giordano t shirt and shoes from DC which I think is a manly macho brand that every man must have! This is the kind of outfit that is suited for chilling with friends, a movie night or casual dining.
LOOK 5: Chilled Out Look
I love playing with colour and I think this is a good combination. It’s a t shirt from Zara and green shorts from H&M paired with loafers from Gucci and D&G shades. It’s a very chill by the beach or go for a casual lunch kind of look.
Style Role Model: To be honest I don’t have a style role model but I admire David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo for their valour in taking style risks and ending up looking a blast! They are not exactly understated or laid back but sophisticated and dapper and that’s what I admire the most about these two gentlemen.
Favourite Colours to Pair: Blue and white. They always work for me. Simple yet elegant and blue I think always tends to bring out that manly charm and works at any occasion.
Go To Outfit: I will have to say a slim fit t-shirt and a pair of coloured shorts and sandals. This is how you will see me most of the time as I find it really comfortable and easy to deal with!
Style Must Have’s?
- A black tux
- A fitted pair of jeans
- Plain t-shirts
- Dress and casual belts
- Black/white shoes

- Hair product/deodorant/perfume are a must!
Style NO’s:
- Print on print
- Stripes on stripes
- Ill-fitting suits

Style Hack:
- Sleeves folded looks better most of the time.
- When wearing a blazer the middle button should always be buttoned as it gives a fitted look.

Aug 30, 2016 at 07:32 amYour style is typically Sri Lankan to be honest, nothing spectacular. However, great effort!
