Every month I do a roundup of events that played host to some of the most sartorially savvy, polished, eclectic, and stylish of dressers. In June, these people impressed with their style, their poise, their ability to pull a unique look together and were the most soigne of the soigne for the month. These style mavens know how to turn heads. There was no shortage of fashion hits last month and I look forward to seeing more stylish looks in July!
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth's Birthday Celebration
(left) Outfits like this are what makes you a discerning fashionista. Her dress may seem simple at first, but it's the cut, heels and Lady Dior bag that make it stand out. The proportions are amazing (fitted up top, voluminous down below), and it looks like the dress has been fitted to her body perfectly. Fashion-forward, effortless and ladylike - the trifecta of summertime chic.
Davina (above right)
This peplum dress not only flatters her figure, but the leather detail helps to define her waist and brings a little edge to an otherwise safe ensemble. The colour is great against her tanned complexion and it really is a winning look.

Anitra
Being a trendsetter is hard work since it involves taking risks that don't always pay off, thankfully this ensemble did. This outfit shows how much fun you can have playing with proportions. The volumious self-coloured top teamed with the print of Anitra's pencil skirt play perfectly together. Her shoes and furry purse give the ensemble that boho quirky chic that she does so well.
A Taste of Italy
Bola (above left)
Smart with the shirt dress silhouette but edgy and interesting with the print. This whole monotone look works incredibly well. Her cross body Chanel bag and strap sandals complement the outfit and don’t detract. A+ for clever dressing.
(right) I love how she’s taken a simple LBD and elevated it through her accessories. Her two toned shoes, her structured monochrome bag and turquoise necklace all work to create a beautiful aesthetic. Even her umbrella looks stylish!

Shalin
He never seems to put a Louis Vuitton clad, sartorial foot wrong. Shalin has an inherent sense of style, knows exactly what works for him and really is one to watch for that 'just thrown on' feel that is cool without being contrived. Kudos!
Linda
She may have found the perfect dress for her frame. The proportions are interesting (off the shoulder on top, soft draping down below), the colour is great against her complexion, her lace up on trend sandals and tousled waves complete the look.
Sonia
This season's trouser silhouette works best with a simple top and Sonia ties the look together so well with her Valentino rockstud flats. This a cool take on a classic look.
Versailles Onirique
Fatima
Black and white colour blocking always looks great and I love this minimalist, simple and stylish look. Fatima is rocking her Chanel bag proving once again that accessories can elevate an outfit!
Marjorie
Maybe it's the influence of Beyonce’s Lemonade as celebrities around the world in the last couple of weeks can’t seem to get enough of the shade. From red carpet events to casual sightings, yellow seems to be the “in” colour of choice, as stars opt for a little sunshine to brighten their lineups. This shade works beautifully on Marjorie and the fluid shape of her dress. Nicely done!
