She tells us that she enjoys dressing up for any kind of occasion and this week, we take a look into some of her favourite summer looks!
(L-R: LOOK 1, LOOK 3, LOOK 4, LOOK 5)
LOOK1: CASUAL
Nothing screams summer more than the dungaree trend. I paired this blue dungaree with a white top to match. It’s super comfy and women have been rocking this outfit since back then so it feels a bit like bringing back the 90’s trend. It’s an ideal outfit for a day out.
LOOK 2: SUMMER VACATION
This is very relaxing and loose fitting. Boho is a massive trend this summer and one of my favourite is this salmon pink off shoulder top which has a vintage lace detail that is my exclusive design done for my brand. It’s super trendy, very girly and is surprisingly sexy in a subtle way.
LOOK 3: NIGHT OUT
This is a double denim look with two different shades as it's a very chic trend this season. If it’s done right it's one the best looks! To brighten the whole look I’ve worn bright red lipstick.
LOOK 4: COCKTAILS
I’m wearing a white lace crop top and a navy blue high waisted skirt from ZARA. The top has a very vintage look with its lace details and high waisted skirts are my signature look!
LOOK 5: EVENING LOOK
They say that tangerine is the new black! I think it’s a versatile colour that suits any skin tone.
Favourite Colours to Pair: Nude hues with pastel pinks.
Go To Outfit: Washed out jeans and tank top.
Style Must Have’s?
- A white tee
- A pair of classic pumps
- Denim dungaree
- The onesie you can wear in public or a romper
- A girly blouse
Make up tip: My go-to is an eyeliner, the right shade of concealer, and a swipe (or two, or three) of mascara. Just a few simple tweaks to my makeup routine is all it takes to emphasize my overall look and opens up my eyes eliminating and covering up the sleepy-eyed tired look. Picking the right makeup palette to compliment your complexion is not hard to do if you know how to select and stick to a family of colours that works for your skin tone, eye colour and hair shade.
Style NO’s:
- Tights or gym pants : Think of tights and gym pants as an accessory. Would you ever wear a purse as a dress? Yeah, that's what I thought.
- Not owning enough shoes.
- Two skimpy separates are truly a no no. When you go the crop-top route, proceed with caution.
Style Hack
- Stop a button from falling off by painting a layer of clear nail polish over the threads to keep a loose button from falling off.
- If you don't have time to try on a pair of pants, wrap the waist of the jeans around your neck. If you can touch the two ends together around your neck, the jeans will likely fit.
