Madushi, 20, tells us that when it comes to style, her signature style varies except for a few constant styles she loves. “I hate routine so my style changes a lot” she says, “Denim and nude toned clothing are constants but I’m also loving the classic outfits that are making a comeback and the old school bell bottom jeans!”

LOOK 1: Casual

This is the most basic I could go with an outfit. I paired a Bershka basic top with Forever 21 bellbottoms. This is, for me, an outfit that could be styled up even for a night out with a good pair of wedges or heels and a skirt as shown. The floral skirt is from New Look.

LOOK 2: Shop and Drop

The white off-shoulder top with a belt at the back is a personal design that I got my mother to sew for me. I paired it with a pair of Mango high waisted jeans and I also wore this top with white chiffon palazzo pants which could be worn for an event at night.

LOOK 3: Day Out

This is a Topshop khaki green skort piece paired with a Forever 21 knit crop top. I would wear this for a day out or a concert at night. The bottoms are super comfy as it is a short camouflaged as a skirt! The mini khaki fringe clutch is a favourite as it is so easy to carry around.

LOOK 4: Date Night

This frilly ruffled dress is a thrift shop purchase! A New Look navy blue dress which I would wear for a date night as it has a soft and romantic look to it. The pearl drop earrings are to give it a more feminine touch. You've got to hit it right on date night!

LOOK 5: Workwear

One of my favourite dresses that was on sale at F&F! A formal lace dress that is super stunning for the office or even a night out somewhere elegant. I paired it with a slightly oversized beige bag to give some colour.

Style Role Model: I don’t have a style role model because my style keeps changing. I hated bellbottoms until a few months back! If I had to choose someone then it’ll be Middle Eastern women. Growing up in Bahrain opened me up to the simple yet sophisticated ways of dressing. Even their abayas are intricately styled. I'm more of a trend than copy person so it’s on how the trend is or if I really feel like bringing some faded style in. However, I do adore the royals, Kate Middleton and Queen Rania of Jordan. And I do admire the outfits and styles portrayed by Nadya Hassan, Sazan Hendrix and a few other bloggers whose dressing I love.

Favourite Colours to Pair: Nude/mauve and black. Or a cream coffee colour with denim. Denim goes with everything!

Go To Outfit: My mother’s comfy cotton pyjamas! But since that isn’t acceptable attire, it would be a casual striped long sleeve top with jeans. It is so easy to wear.

Style Must Have’s?

- Basic tees

- One coloured top in a halter, long sleeved or offshoulder style

- Basic dresses in different styles and a few colours

- Nude flats are my go-to-pair

Makeup Tip: Eyeliner. It instantly gives your eyes an eyelift and it is stunning.

Style No’s: Print on print. I don’t like the sight of printed pants and a printed top. A pet peeve would be small heels. It definitely has to pass an average wedge size at least!

Style Hacks: Lace up top! You can wear most of the front lace up tops to the back also.
