Today on Fashionably, Danu, I feature this hip outlet which specializes in male clothing, and the only place which has been on point with it being the season. 

The shoot gives a few cool looks to try this season with shirts which are made for the Sri Lankan climate and a funky Christmas collection which is available exclusively at JUMP. 

Speaking to the designer and owner Sameera who is also a fashion forward model, here's what he had to say. 

Why did you specialize a collection for the season? 

For the season, people like to come out with bright seasonal colours and we felt we needed to add to that, and we worked on the lines of  “JUMP colours your world”. 

What different aspect does JUMP give to the market? 

We have caught a young market and we also try to keep it trendy and what’s new in the market and this I feel is our special feature. 

What were your inspirations for the designs you create? 

Social media and all what’s trending on Instagram, because this gives us an idea of what the youth need for life today. 

How is male fashion growing? 

Men are realy working on fitness and taking healthy lifestyle very seriously, so I see that they are ever ready to try some cool and fancy outfits. 

What are your plans for the future? With this brand as there are many in the market? 

We did do a market study, and the youth market loves the collection we have, we hope to grow the collection and even bring in more features to the shop, which will make it a place for a total look. 

What items of clothing did you feature in this shoot? 

We are proud to say, we were able to personalize some good Christmas T-shirts for the shoot to go with the season, and some linen shirts to go with the Sri Lankan weather. 

What would you say is good street fashion? 

As we are blessed with sunlight and a warm weather we don’t need to worry about a lot of changes, but we do really need to keep changing the look, as it gives us all a good reason to smile, and when you look good, you feel good. 

What would you say is a good pick for the Christmas season? 

I would say colour, as after all, it’s the season to be jolly, better keep it bright! 

Speaking to the man behind the lens and well-known fashion photographer Arantha, these were his views on the photoshoot. 

What are your thoughts on the Christmas collection? 

Well, Christmas is always about happy vibes. So from the clothing we wear it should be highlighted as well. So the clothing collection which JUMP offers is all about bringing about those happy vibes to you. I really love their colourful range of shirts. And I think they will be the perfect option for anyone who is looking for a good shirt to wear for Christmas. 

How was the street fashion collection? 

The JUMP clothing store was always famous for their streetwear selection for men. I am a personal fan of their casualwear T-shirts because they bring out the latest trends in the market and the prices are very affordable for the average Sri Lankan teenager. I would prefer if they could do more clothing using comfy materials to suit Sri Lanka. 

Linen shirts are always in style in our country, what are your thoughts on the collection at JUMP? 

Linen shirts goes with the tropical Sri Lankan climate. I guess doing more fashionable styles with them would promote teenagers to wear them more often. I have become a big fan of their Chinese collar range of linen shirts.
