A graduate of the Academy of Design (AOD) Senuri was honoured when one of her creations, a shirt in hot pink with tulle frills was chosen to be worn by Sonali Silva who graced the cover of the June edition of the Hi!! magazine. “This particular piece was done for my graduation collection which was called ‘Identity”. This was inspired by sarees fused with street style elements to create new perspectives of south Asian aesthetics” she says.
