Colours of Linen : A stunning sarong collection by Hameedia 

Sarongs are nothing new to the Sri Lankan fashion arena. Yet this time, the premier Sri Lankan men’s fashion brand Hameedia has succeeded in adding a couture makeover to the everyday sarong thus announcing their latest ‘Linen Kurtha, Shirt and Sarong collection’ for this year. 

The new collection comes with clean-cut and refined designs and a myriad of colours. Sarongs featured in the collection exude sophistication and simplicity balanced with comfort. The entire collection of sarongs, kurthas and shirts come in 25 colours ranging from deeper hues to muted pastel shades and two-toned clothes. The newly updated sarongs have been designed for versatility and are suited for day wear, smart casual and formal. The sarong can be worn with either a kurtha top, tunic collared shirt or a regular collared shirt while selected shirts now come with pin tux design. 

Natural, lightweight, lint free and long lasting, the linen used comes from the finest Irish yarns which are one of the best in the world. Its texture lends itself to crispness in design and style, allowing its wearer to look effortlessly stylish with minimum hassle. 

Launched at the ‘Envoy Concept 2016 Fashion show’, the collection is designed fully in linen for its unique silhouette and its adaptability to any climes, attuned to the tropical climate of Sri Lanka. Hameedia has consistently focused on pioneering style coupled with comfort and the collection’s linen fabric allows breathability and coolness in hot summers, lessening the heat and humidity for the wearer. 

The new collection will be available at all Hameedia Showrooms and the Envoy Mansion Showroom.
