The much-awaited Tamil romantic movie, '3' of 'Why This Kolaveri Di' fame, directed by Aishwarya Rajanikanth Dhanush is now being screened at Premier Concord Dehiwela, Cinecity Maradana, Eros Pamankada and Ruby Maligawatte.

"Aishwarya has given her best in this film. It will surely be a hit just like its song ‘Why This Kolaveri Di’," says Dhanush who plays the lead role in the movie opposite Shruthi Haasan.

Aishwarya Dhanush is the daughter of South Indian Superstar Rajinikanth. Her husband Dhanush stars in the movie opposite Shruti Haasan, daughter of another South Indian star Kamal Haasan. 3 is produced by Dhanush's father Kasthuri Raja.

The soundtrack and background score is composed by Aishwarya's cousin Anirudh Ravichander. The single track "Why This Kolaveri Di", written and performed by Dhanush, was initially leaked on the internet. Having noticed its popularity, the makers launched the song as a single. The song became the most searched YouTube video in India, attracting more than 50 million views so far and was listed by YouTube under the "Recently Most Popular (Gold)" videos.

The film will release 400 prints in Tamil and 600 prints for the Hindi version.
