The Boulevard, tucked away in the heart of Colombo 3 is set out to delight its customers with a brand new menu. A quaint location for a snug retreat or gathering, the Boulevard is managed by Ms. Kanthi Jayamaha and has been in operation since last year.
Assortments of mouth-watering dishes made from a plethora of ingredients that will tickle each of your taste buds are available at reasonable prices. To name a few, Lamb Rack on a bed of creamy alfredo fettuccine with buttered vegetables in mint sauce and cranberry dip, Grilled lobster which is served with garlic lemon butter sauce, mashed potatoes and mango salad, the Seafood Risotto and the Indonesian Prawn Curry.
The Boulevard mixed grill is a holistic indulgence and contains chicken marinated in honey and garlic, garlic chicken sausage, grilled filled steak, grilled vegetable kebab, all served with deep fried giant potato fingers and apple barbeque sauce.
There’s more to look forward to as The Boulevard will be introducing a Mexican theme night every second and fourth Friday of the month – you might want to check the offer out this 17th or 31st. An executive business lunch, the Italian Express set menu is available everyday. A three course meal at Rs. 1250 nett, you need to try this one out if you work anywhere close by and can drop in during lunch hours.
Fusion menus are a speciality at the restaurant, so be it Far East Asian fusion or Mediterranean there are dishes to make you drool. On that note, I will recommend to you the Singaporean Hokkien noodles which is served with chicken, mushroom and egg or seafood.
Boulevard has a Broadway setting and the ambience and interior are rather inimitable, I must say. Live musical shows are constantly on screen at the inner dining area and gives a touch of poise to the tastefully designed restaurant. Make your reservations for private functions, there are outdoor dining areas as well, and the venue can hold a 100 in all.
