Calvin Harris slams claim he has split from Taylor Swift
The pop star's best friend Selena Gomez also called the rumor 'so stupid'.
A report emerged in the early hours of Monday morning, alleging that Taylor Swift had split with Calvin Harris.
But just hours later the 31-year-old Scottish DJ slammed the rumor via his Twitter account, describing it as 'bulls**t' and threatening to take legal action.
Calvin wrote: 'It's not going to be a "happy ending" for everyone I sue for defamation of character for all these bulls**t stories bye bye'.
Radar Online claimed on Monday that Taylor, 25, broke up with the DJ over his visiting a Thai massage parlor in mid-September.
DailyMail.com has contacted reps for both Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris for comment.
Earlier on Monday day, the Shake It Off singer's BFF Selena Gomez also shot down the rumor during a candid interview with Andy Cohen for his SiriusXM radio show.
The 23-year-old slammed the report as 'stupid' as she explained that if something had actually happened she would have known about it.
Cohen, 47, asked the singer about the rumoured split to which Selena replied: 'I think I would have found that out. Is that a rumor?'
'Honestly, it’s so stupid,' she continued. 'I’m pregnant every week, [Taylor’s] gonna be pregnant. It’s so stupid, like you can’t really read that stuff.'
Meanwhile, over the last few months it has been clear the DJ and producer is completely smitten with Swift.
In July, while promoting his single How Deep Is Your Love, Harris described the relationship as 'absolutely fantastic' and that he was 'insanely happy' with Swift, People magazine reported.
'It's interesting because obviously there's different things written about it every day and even if we don't do anything publicly for a while, someone will make something up,' he said of the intense media scrutiny their relationship is under.
The two began dating in March of 2015.
