HCR launches ‘Simply Crabulous’ from 11 – 20 September 2014

Hilton Colombo Residences today announced the launch of its next dining promotion ‘Simply Crabulous’ which would commence on 11 September until 20 September 2014 at the Verandah Bistro & Bar, level 03.

‘Simply Crabulous’ will feature a range of best-loved crab dishes in a dinner buffet from Thursday until Saturday for Rs. 3,100 nett per person; an A La Carte menu will be offered from Sunday until Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Renowned executive chef Priyal Wijesuriya and his culinary team will bring forth an eclectic range of actions stations with crab dishes such as Chili Crab, Tamarind Crab, Baked Crab, Crab Cakes, Crab Rotti and Crab Hoppers.

“Crabs have always been a favourite amongst seafood in Colombo; my team and I will be preparing dishes that will consist of regional favourites such as chili crab and local innovations like the crab rotti. So far, we have featured many cuisines on a monthly basis at HCR, in doing so we establish ourselves as a hotel that offers dining experiences that are synonymous with Hilton hotels worldwide” said Priyal Wijesuriya, executive chef of Hilton Colombo Residences.

The hotel has embarked on rejuvenating its dining experiences with the opening of its Bar Lounge in June this year that offers an array of freshly baked treats, pastries, salads, sandwiches and cakes, all available for either dining in or to take away. For something a little stronger, the Bar & Lounge also serves single malt whiskeys, wines and many other international beverages; next in the development pipe line would be a new multi-cuisine restaurant.
