Rejuvenate and Rejoice is what RnR stands for and this is exactly what they want their customers to achieve. Having opened their doors since late October last year, when the Racecourse Complex was opened to the public, this fine dining restaurant has been nothing short of impressive. RnR comprises two floors - the dining area on the first floor and a lounge on the second floor.

The restaurant’s lunch and dinner menus include plenty of fusion food with a variety of Eastern, Western and Asian dishes. They do an impressive seafood spread along with salads and a variety of meat dishes. The lunch menu is more casual with burgers, sandwiches and hotdogs taking centre stage. Pizzas and rice/noodle dishes are also available on this menu. The lunch and dinner menus have almost the same appetizer and soup options. While lunch is more casual, the dinner menu places focus on seafood and a host of meat dishes such as grilled steaks and roasted lamb in addition to Italian favourites such as pasta and ravioli.

The dessert menu features a dark, white and milk chocolate mousse, passion fruit cheesecake, pineapple and banana fritters, ice cream sundae and coconut pancakes in addition to fresh fruit. A selection of hot and cold coffee and chocolate beverages dominates the beverage menu, with floats, juices and smoothies as well. From what we hear, the Wild Berry Burst is a popular drink. Made with raspberry and cranberry juice and fresh strawberries, it is a slushie of sorts which explains the long spoon served with the drink.

RnR is open from 11AM-11PM everyday including public holidays. Private functions can be held but a week’s notice has to be given.

Guests can walk in without making reservations ahead but it is advisable to make a reservation on weekends to avoid disappointment.

Call on 0778360033 for inquiries and reservations. RnR can be found on Facebook as well so make sure to check it out for regular updates. They are located at Racecourse Complex, Reid Avenue, Colombo 07.
