The rooftop at OZO offers one of the most stunning views of Colombo and her stunning coastline.With the sea breeze blowing and a stunning Colombo sunset, ON14, the rooftop lounge and restaurant at OZO, is one of the nicest places to relax and unwind.

While you’re at ON14 you are bound to sip on a delicious beverage of your choice but also take note that they have a concise menu too. The hip and chic atmosphere of ON14 is reflected through their easy bites, salads, mains, an interesting array of pizzas and desserts prepared by their Swiss chef.

One of ON14’s simple yet delicious dishes on their Easy Bites section of the menu is their Crostini (Rs 550) topped with fresh tomato, basil and a generous helping salty parmesan. I loved how the juices of the tomato ever so lightly soaked the crunchy bread.

ON14 also dishes out a delicious Yellowfin Seared Tuna Loin. This lightly seared tuna crusted with sesame seeds and served with a crunchy lemongrass salad and spicy chilli dip is quite delicious. It is a small portion so chances are you can indulge all by yourself!

Among their more filling dishes which might just be enough for two, is their Sate or Satay (Rs 700), which comes with a bowl of Japanese beef Yakitori, Thai chicken satay and Indonesian lamb satay served with pickles, peanut sauce and dashi so remember to try out each sauce with the different types of meat!

If you like crème fraîche and bacon I bet you won’t say no to their Flammkuchen (Rs 850). This simple pizza is complimented with thyme and onions and is delicious. Besides, how can you go wrong with bacon!

ON14 dishes out a decent Chocolate Mousse. It is definitely chocolaty while I’d recommend you share it as it is quite rich. Their Crème Brûlée on the other hand was just enough for one and served with poached fruits and cookies.

When you visit ON14 what you need to keep in mind that it is a lounge with a stunning view and chic atmosphere and that the menu has been designed to complement the food and the atmosphere so one dish may not necessarily be filling. Also remember that you need to dress appropriately (no shorts, T’s and flip flops).
