“Oh dear, I have the migraine again.  What shall I do?”moaned Julia.

“Just try to relax and lie down if you can. Tension headaches are quite common in offices.  It’s because we work under stress. We worry about our work and also about practically everything under the sun. Besides, we carry yesterday’s problems along with today’s and tomorrow’s!" remarked Paul, her colleague.

“You are right. We must train our minds to let go of yesterday. For better or worse, it’s over.  We should concentrate on today. “Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof” goes the saying. I am not saying that we should think of evil but we should try to handle today’s problems only. We should also not anticipate tomorrow’s ups and downs.”said Jessica.

“I know. You and I must think of what we can do today from sunrise to sunset. First of all, let’s try to handle the migraine. Take a wet cloth or hanky and apply it to the forehead and try to switch off from whatever is worrying you.” advised Paul.

“I know it’s hard when you have migraine but do try not to dwell on it.” Said Jessica.

“I find it difficult to focus on the subject file. My head throbs and it hurts.” confessed Julia.

“Come on. Sit back for five minutes and close your eyes. There you are. I am sure you feel better now.” said Paul.

“Yes. Let’s pick up the thread and continue with the day’s work. After all, it’s only for a few hours more and then you can go home and sleep.” concluded Jessica.

“Anyway, talking it over has helped me and I am learning to cope with the dull ache.” said Julia.
