Jacqueline Fernandez to be roped for ‘Ram-Lakhan’ remake?

One hit movie can change your life and this suits the Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez quite well. Earlier, she used to be a mere eye candy in movies, but Salman Khan’s ‘Kick’ has changed Jacky’s (as she is fondly called in the industry) repertoire in the Indian film industry.
The latest we hear is the pretty lady is in talks to play a prominent role in the remake of the yesteryear hit ‘Ram Lakhan’. The 1989 movie featured Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit and Dimple Kapadia in lead roles with Rakhee, Anupam Kher and Amrish Puri in pivotal roles.

While Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh have been roped in for the lead roles, Jacqueline is said to be reprising Dimple Kapadia’s role in the updated version.

Also, Alia Bhatt is rumoured to be playing ‘Radha’ which was earlier portrayed by Madhuri Dixit. It’s also reported that Amrita Singh might be reprising Rakhee’s role. The remake will be made by Rohit Shetty in collaboration with Karan Johar, and hence, is expected to be a sure-shot potboiler.

Currently, Jacqueline is busy with ‘Roy’ opposite Ranbir Kapoor. While we wait in anticipation for the official announcements on the actual cast, we just can say that her fate has turned for sure and we hope it remains so in the future.
