This weeks Fitness Profile features owner of Body by Kris Fitness Elite, Kris.
 
 
What are your top three favourite exercises?
 
Using free weights. 
 
TRX for functional training and stretching
 
Spin Bike for my cardio
 
 
Why is fitness important to you?
 
Fitness was just my favourite hobby one time. Now I own a fitness club, so being in shape helps my members to get motivated.
 
It also helps me to stay on top of the industry. Being in shape has definitely helped me bring my golf handicap from 28 to 9 in less than three years.
 
 
What is your fitness regime and diet?
 
My fitness regime has changed with my lifestyle and goals, and I still do live with fitness. I hit the gym 3-4 times a week and play golf 1-2 times a week. I aim for 5 meals a day, low crab, fat and High protein every single meal
 
 
What is your training routine like? How often do you train? 
 
I hit the weights 3-4 times a week. Train each body part once a week. Two weeks heavy and two weeks light
 
 
What are your favourite health foods?
 
I generally make healthy, natural food choices. I like sushi, salmon, fruits, red rice, chicken breast, egg whites & cashew nuts. I also drink a lot of spring water. 
 
 
Which exercises have worked best for you?
 
As far as strength and muscle development, the BIG FOUR really helped me a lot SQUATS, BENCH PRESS DEAD LIFTS and BENTOVER ROW I like to go really heavy on them let’s say.  I weigh 180lbs and I lift a lot more than that on these exercise. 
 
 
How do you stay motivated to train regularly?
 
I've been training for 20 years and have never been a morning person, but seeing my wife train at exactly 5am everyday motivates me to somehow get my workout done before the end of the day.
 
As far as fitness goes, it is part of my life, it disciplines me, helps me focus on my other goals. I enjoy inspiring others and motivating them to exercise.
