Fitness Profile: Eliana Usma, Director of Entertrainers Sri Lanka, Celebrity Trainer at CSN Fun Fitness TV show. 
 
With 5 Zumba fitness certifications and Cert III, IV in fitness from the Australian Institute of fitness, she is also a Pilates Instructor and an Internationally Certified Master Trainer.
 
 
· Top 3 favourite exercises?
 
1.  Kettlebells – a Russian sport that has become a new trend in fitness. It does a lot of conditioning and muscle toning. 
2. Running – I love to run!
3. Dancing, specially Latin. Anything with lots of beats and drumming, so even hip hop and Bollywood type music.
 
 
· How often do you train? What is your training routine like?
 
Well since it is my profession, I train everyday! I have 4 to 5 classes for 4 to 5 days of the week. Then I train for two hours in the morning. However this is not recommended for everyone.
 
 
· How would you define a healthy lifestyle?

A healthy lifestyle is not one way. Everything that you perform, you need to perform well. It is when you can do any activity and do it well, even if you are playing with your children. Healthy lifestyle and optimal performance go together and depend on nutrition and fitness routine. You need to eat what gives you energy and not extra carbs. You need to not just feed yourself, but nourish yourself. You should take care to eat only what nourishes your body and ultimately you. Furthermore exercises prevent so many diseases, cardio vascular ones and malfunctions.  
 
 
· What does your diet consist of?

No, I normally don’t like to diet. My food consists of a lot of raw items, fruits and vegetables and then protein and meat (because iron is important to a heavy exercise routine like mine).
 
 
· Favourite healthy foods?
Raw fruits, broccoli, soy, carrot, pumpkins, legumes, beans, grams, cashews, raisins and so on!
 
 
· How do you stay motivated?
 
My students motivate me!! I honestly can’t exercise on my own. When you go into a room and see all the people and energy, it’s an amazing feeling I cannot describe. Being in a community of people with the same goal, their energy gives me energy!
