Ramona Oshini
Ramona Oshini has developed a unique style by creating ethereal silhouettes and reflecting traditional Sri Lankan craftsmanship in a contemporary manner. Today the brand is well-known for its distinctive use of colours, quality of fabrics, intricate embroideries and gloriously rich Sri Lankan aesthetics. The ‘Stained’ collection is inspired by beautiful stained glass designs from Dutch era chapels and churches in Sri Lanka. Her designs are for the woman of today who is strong-willed, sexy and eternally stylish.

MAUS
MAUS is a retail ladieswear fashion brand created by Annika Fernando. It was originally created for her boutique, PR, as a separates line to work with the other designer collections and set the aesthetic of the store. With a restrained use of colour, strength in classics and a limited number produced by style, MAUS has gained popularity with the local community and visitors to the island. Certain staples remain the focus of the brand, reinvented each season, such as the shirt dress, white shirt, black pants, jersey dresses, and more.
Yasisurie
Yasisurie launched her collection as a debut designer at the HSBC Colombo Fashion Week in 2014 and won the HSBC CFW ‘Gen-Next Designer’ award for her maiden collection. Her Spring/Summer 2015 collection for CFW is named ’Peace’ and delves into the inner peace of man. The collection is a tribute to this journey that every human takes on. She uses a symbol of peace which is the shape of a dove and colours of white, black, beige, light blue and grey along with flowing soft silhouettes. Her fabrics are mostly silk satin, silk taffeta, pure cotton and jacquard. She has also ventured into office and evening wear in this collection.
Sonali Dharmawardena
Sonali Dharmawardena has shown at several Colombo Fashion Week shows, and has journeyed to different parts of the world, taking with her the heritage art of batik and her own rendition of it, which she applies to her garments. This collection shows how life is a cycle. The seed that is cast away does not meet its end; instead, it is part of a wonderful beginning, It is the inexplicable plan of life. Science makes gallant attempts to dissect and disprove or rationalize, but through art people find glory and can celebrate.
Nelun
Nelun was born in Sri Lanka and has a degree in visual communication from the University of Trent in Nottingham, United Kingdom. Her ocean-inspired collection of resort wear consists of swimsuits, day dresses, pants, skirts, tops and fabrics. Her collection also features sarees, evening wear, evening wear pants and shirts, evening wear skirts and tops, evening dresses, bags, scarves and shawls. All designs for the fabrics and clothing were inspired by sea creatures and are executed in batik and patchwork. The colours are mainly white, off-white and black with hints of gold, taupe and scarlet and mustard. The fabrics used are raw silk, linen and raw cotton.
Atsu
Atsu Sekhose launched his eponymous collection in 2007 with a philosophy encompassing modern opulence, ineffable style and a zealous sense of glamour. His gowns and dresses have been worn by leading actresses for various red-carpet appearances and events and his designs have been featured in several international magazines. Atsu’s label is now gently branching into menswear and also a children’s clothing, with a line known as Atsu Kids.
