ASTERIA – Female Voice Choir presents CAPRICE, directed by Mahen Peiris; attorney-at-law and former founder member of the global award winning male ensemble The Revelations. The choir will take the stage on the 3rd of May at 7 pm at the Lionel Wendt. Caprice promises a musical journey delivering timeless chronicles of music from then and now. The show hopes to enlighten you with a musical variety spreading through, Accapella| Jazz| Pop| R&B| Classical| Gospel Sinhala pop and more!

ASTERIA comprises of an all-girl choir group of past pupils of Methodist College Colombo. They have been performing for over 5 years and share the same love for music being experienced in performing for varied audiences in diverse genres of music.

The show will also feature guest performances by Rukshan Perera the legendary music maestro with his unique and unmatched flair of music that revolutionalized the Sri Lankan music industry and also the Old Joes’ choir, a 20+ male ensemble - one of the leading choirs in Sri Lanka today.
