An Unlimited All Access Brunch like no other

The All Access Sunday Brunch at the Cinnamon Lakeside gives you a chance to savour the best of The Dining Room, Royal Thai and Long Feng, therefore giving your taste buds the ideal opportunity to savour all that is delicious about Chinese, Thai, Continental, Indian and even Sri Lankan cuisine.

Once you decide which beverage you’d like to have an unlimited flow of, that of, mocktails, lager or bubbly, you are given a wristband representing your beverage of choice – You then have access to the above three restaurants from 12noon to 3pm.  If you decide to bring your little ones along, they will have a bouncy castle to play in. Three hours does seem like a long time but once you start nibbling on the delectable food laid out by the restaurants you realise that three hours is just about the right amount of time.

From seafood to sushi, sashimi and maki to salads and pickles, the variety of starters seem endless – I suggest you head that way without having breakfast as there is so much to choose from! If you are a fan of sashimi, you’d love the fresh tuna and salmon while the maki and sushi rolls are great too.

They have some good Cheddar and Blue cheese. The latter is perfect slathered on a cracker or two, while the cheddar in all its hearty glory is ideal just on its own. There are so many pickled vegetables to choose from too – the pickled asparagus was my favourite and went so well with my cheese platter.  Also go for some creamy and savoury hummous accompanied with corn chips and pita chips along with some mozzarella with tomato and herbs.

The carvery section, located outside The Dining Room, has some mouthwatering roast lamb with mint sauce as well as honey-glazed ham with peach sauce. Head back into The Dining Room and go straight down to the fresh seafood section where you can choose to either have your seafood fried or grilled. I opted for fried cuttlefish and grilled tuna, which complimented my lamb and ham.

Royal Thai has always served a delightful Papaya Salad and they did not disappoint me on Sunday either. Some of this with their soft and crunchy chicken dim sum and vegetable dim sum was the icing on the cake for me, in terms of the main courses at the brunch. They were lightly fried and served with soy and green chilli sauce.

Desserts too are aplenty. From chocolate mousse to ice cream with various toppings to Cinnamon Lakeside’s delicious chocolate chip cake, jellies and fresh fruit. Try making your own Sundae using cookies, nuts and the various sauces, like chocolate sauce and fruity ones too. End your Sunday brunch with some green tea and all’s well with the world again!
