Harry Potter Festival @ British Council Colombo and Orion City 

Harry Potter fans from all over the world joined to celebrate twenty years of J.K Rowling’s magical fantasies which were dearly embraced by many. In view of this milestone, British Council Colombo and the British Council Library at Orion City is delighted to announce their exciting lineup of events from July 1- 19, 2017. Some of the events included book readings, magic shows, treasure hunts for children and adults, sorting hat ceremonies, face-painting and many more.

French Touch de la webcréation exhibition @ Alliance Française de Kotte 

While the French Spring Festival is currently underway, another exciting exhibition - French Touch de la webcréation will be showcased by Transmedia Immersive University and the Institut Français. The exhibition presents a renewal of audiovisual writings and integrates the specificities of Internet, such as interactivity. Each narrative underlines the creativity of its authors, with the use of new technologies and tools.
