Gananath Dasanayake together with En Route returns to stage with “The Great American Song Book” on September 3, 2016 at the British School Auditorium. The concerts’ proceeds will be donated to Music Project Charity who is involved with harnessing music talents of children in the North and East.

In December 2015 the same band celebrated the 100th birth anniversary of Ol Blue Eyes’; ‘Francis Albert’ Frank Sinatra with a full house concert hit. This year’s concert will continue to celebrate Frank Sinatra as Gananath Dasanayake is an ardent fan together with the sounds of Bobby Darin, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin and many more! It promises to bring alive the memories of the rat-pack era.

The playlist will include amongst many popular standards, Frank Sinatra’s 1966 Grammy award - winning ‘Strangers in the Night’, ‘New York New York’ and Dean Martin’s evergreens ‘Almost Like Being In Love’ and ‘I Wish You Love’, Jerome Kern’s Classic “Ol’ man River”, Bobby Darin Smash hit ‘Mack The Knife’ of 1960 and ‘Beyond The Sea’.
