This concert will be the first physical concert to be held post lockdown and it's the concert that has earned a reputation as being the Christmas show to be at if you were to get into the Christmas mood. The concert will be followed by meals at the Graze Kitchen of the Hilton, Colombo. Each concert will have only the stipulated amount of guests and crews as per the health guidelines issued. Generally, the DLB concert takes stage in the Hilton Ballroom, however, this time it will be in the Hilton Lobby so that the guests are in a wider ‘open space.’
The concerts, all in theatre style with social distancing will start at 11 am followed by lunch. The 2nd concert is purchased privately, the 3rd from 6.30 to 7.30 and the last one for the day from 8.30 to 9.30 pm.
Ishan speaking to the Daily Mirror Life said he was pleasantly surprised by the number of calls to the hotline, which made them add 2 more shows on the same day. Rohan said “we are preparing for the new abnormal as these are not things we usually deal with ..!" Together with the Hilton Colombo, both brands who have partnered unbroken for the last 8years and all their sponsors and partners are looking forward to some memorable concerts adhering to all health guidelines. It will be compulsory for everyone present to wear masks throughout the performance and all guests have to be double vaccinated. Spaces have been introduced between concerts so that there will be enough time to sanitize the chairs and all other relevant areas etc. The double vaccination card is also required to be with the guest at all times as health officials will check on the same.
