Shreya Ghoshal is a name that needs no introduction. The face behind the melodious tones of a number of hits will return to Sri Lanka, presented by The Bollywood Leisure (Pvt.) Ltd. at the Sugathadasa Stadium.

Widely acknowledged as the nightingale of Bollywood, Ghoshal has lent her voice to a number of songs in a host of languages. She forayed into the world of Bollywood fresh off the heels of her success at the competition Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, which she won. Debuting with Bairi Piya, the first song off Sanjay Leela Bansali's romantic drama Devdas alongside reputed singer Udit Narayanan, Ghoshal's repertoire is far and wide, spanning a host of vocal ranges and genres. Acclaim would soon follow her very first song, which won her a host of awards including a National Film Award, a Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer and a Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent.

Ghoshal's vocal range - despite her dulcet tones making her sound sweet and serene - is impressive.
She’s able to effortlessly switch up the tempo and have the audience on their feet, and then gracefully slide into a
honey-dipped inflection, tugging at the audiences heart strings.

Unsurprisingly, in just a short span of time shes risen to stand on par with some of India's musical stalwarts and hold her own, making her one of the most sought after artists. When not singing, she has also appeared as a judge on several television reality shows like Voice of India, Music Ka Maha Muqubla, X Factor and more. She has also headlined numerous concerts in India and abroad, including a scintillating performance  at  Saint Denis  Festival  -  France,  Royal  Albert  Hall  –  UK,  the  closing ceremony of Commonwealth Games 2006, Sydney Opera House 2008 &  and a multicity tour of  the  United  States,  UK,  Australia,  New  Zealand  and  many  more  countries  multiple times.
