Having left audience in stitches thanks to all the rib-tickling laughs from the first run of Chaos by SMS back in November, the play returns to the Wendt this May.

The life of a prolific playboy is never an easy one, as Ram Sewalagala will soon learn, much to his mortification. A series of unfortunate events ensue after Ram accidentally sends a message meant for his love interest of the moment, Nelum, to his contact group “Little Black Book” instead. The message isn’t a sweet proclamation or greeting, but an invitation to spend a “dirty weekend” at his estate bungalow. A panicked Ram manages to get the mess under control, for the most part. Despite sending out a message informing the group members of a cancellation of the amorous weekend plans, three women in the group fail to get his message. With an accidental gathering of his love interests looming, what could go wrong? Head over to the Wendt to find out!

Indu Dharmasena will essay the role of playboy Ram Sewalagala and will be joined by Sanwada Dharmasena (Gladys Vandabona), Jaliya Wijewardene (Edward Pinnawala), Sanjana Selvarajah (Sepalika), Kamanthi Wickramasinghe (Manel), Saneesha Ramanayake (Nelum), Abbasali Rozais (Rex Waligoda) and Anushan Selvarajah (Dr. Pradeep Silva).

The Show on the 12th is presented by Christ Church Kotte as a fundraiser for the renovation and reconstruction of Christ church Kotte parish hall. Christ Church Kotte is part of the historical legacy of the last kingdom of Sri Lanka, Kotte. The Church, a subsequent result of the ‘Cotta Mission’ was established around 1822 and was instrumental in setting up of  ‘Christian College Kotte’ (presently Sri Jayawardena Maha Vidyalaya) and later  ‘CMS Girls School’ (presently Sri Jayawardena Balika Maha Vidyalaya). Christ Church Kotte continues to nurture spiritually and to mold its children who are our future, to be responsible citizens of our motherland. The Parish hall is the pivotal point of the church where the Sunday school for children operates. An ambitious programme was launched to renovate and reconstruct the existing ‘parish hall’ to enable the children, the parish community and future generations to benefit.
