Cinnamon Travel Bloggers Conference And Awards 2016 

Since its inception in 2014, Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is back again having partnered up with Sri Lankan Airlines and the Professional Travel Blogger Association (PTBA) to present  the ‘Cinnamon Travel Bloggers Conference and Awards 2016’ (Cinnamon TBCasia). 

Having organized a successful conference in 2014 where travel bloggers such as Sofie Couwenbergh called it a ‘perfect introduction to Sri Lanka’, Cinnamon TBCasia 2016 is back bigger, better and bolder. 

Taking place from 2-7 June 2016, the conference is set to host 60 of the best travel and video bloggers from all parts of the world.  60 travel bloggers will set off on a pre-conference tour of Sri Lanka, exploring some of the country’s most famous tourist spots and will then commit to the full day conference on the 7th. 

The conference is also privy to some of the world’s most well-known tourism and travel industry and social media experts from Nat Geo, PATA, Digital Jungle and many more. 

President of the PTBA, Mr. Matt Gibson expressed his enthusiasm to be a part of Cinnamon TBCasia once more. “I'm very excited to be a part of this historic event. While the first TBC Asia was very successful, we expect this event to be a milestone in Asian destination marketing with the largest group travel blogger trip in history and seminars by domain experts from across the travel and online marketing spheres. Furthermore, for the first time ever, TBCasia 2016 will be introducing the ‘Cinnamon Travel Blogger Awards’ where from over 700 applicants, 30 shortlisted bloggers would be awarded across 10 categories such as Best Travel Blog of the Year, Best Up Coming Travel Blogger, Best Travel Photography Blog, Best Travel Video Blog, Best Food Blog and many more.

Tickets for the conference can be bought at Rs. 20,000 (individual), Rs. 18,500 each for a 3 person’s package and Rs. 17,000 each for a 5 person’s package inclusive of entrance to the conference, access to selected talks, lunch and tea/coffee).
