Sabrina Herft among favourites at pageant

Miss Sri Lanka 2012, Sabrina Herft has been named a close favourite to enter the top 16 and thereby have a good chance of winning this year's Miss Universe pageant.

The Las Vegas Sun review of the Dec 13 preliminaries claimed Sabrina was one of the favourites to enter the top 16 who will be revealed Dec 19.

“It was a night that allure and glitter meshed with Las Vegas sizzle and sparkle in a perfect marriage of gorgeous glamour….

There are favourites, with Miss USA Olivia Culpo from Rhode Island, Miss South Africa, Miss Georgia, Miss Philippines, Miss Paraguay, Miss Bolivia, Miss Croatia, Miss Sri Lanka and Miss Venezuela leading the pack...."

Having wowed the judges with her charm and confidence, Sabrina will hopefully move on to the finals, which will see a host of celebrity judges led by pageant owner Donald Trump pick the winner.

Good Luck Sabrina to be in the top nine contestants. That alone is an huge achievement.

Personally I really don't like the national costume she's wearing. She'de have looked lovely dressed as a Kandian bride or something. Maybe this is the sort of thing they go for at these pageants.
