Gourmet Galle 2025, is seven weeks of mouth-watering gourmet events that span from January
27 to March 9, 2025, bringing together globally celebrated and homegrown chefs to host
intimate dinners, cocktails, pop-up events and culinary masterclasses at Sri Lanka’s finest
boutique hotels, private villas, and luxury venues along the South Coast.
Presented by Mastercard, this festival promises a journey of tastes, and textures, highlighting
Sri Lanka’s exceptional produce is curated by chefs from around the world. A celebration of Sri
Lanka’s beauty, spices, bounty of fresh seafood, tropical fruit, locally sourced vegetables and
traditional ingredients.

Gourmet Galle: A Celebration of Sri Lankan Cuisine and Global Flavors
Each weekend, our visiting and homegrown chefs will present unforgettable dining experiences with menus inspired by Sri Lanka’s bounty of ingredients and spices. From ancient jungle estates to stunning architectural spaces, the festival venues reflect the beauty and diversity of Sri Lanka’s South Coast, offering a unique experience for gourmet travellers.
Every Sunday, Galle Fort hosts a masterclass within the historic walls of this UNESCO World Heritage site, giving ticket holders a rare opportunity to learn culinary arts from renowned chefs.
Additionally in 2025, in recognition of local chefs paving the way in culinary excellence and pushing Sri Lanka’s gourmet landscape to new frontiers, Gourmet Galle invites our local talent to participate in this celebration. Gourmet Galle will expertly curate the beverage offerings for all Supper Clubs and pop-up events, ensuring an exquisite pairing for each dining experience.
