views 72Nick Carter, the iconic singer of the world-famous boy band Backstreet Boys, is set to perform in Sri Lanka for an exclusive, one-night-only concert in Colombo.
The highly anticipated event will take place at the Water’s Edge on March 23, 2025, as part of Nick Carter's Who I Am World Tour.
Nick Carter is bringing his world-renowned Who I Am World Tour to Asia in February and March 2025.
The Who I Am Asian Tour kicks off in Dubai on February 8, followed by performances in India, Thailand, Macau, Malaysia, China (with eight concerts), Japan (three concerts in Tokyo), Colombo, Singapore, and concluding in the Philippines on March 30.
Nick Carter rose to fame as a member of the Backstreet Boys, starting in 1993. The original lineup of the boy band consisted of Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, and cousins Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson. As the youngest member, Carter quickly became an international pop superstar, celebrated for his boyish charm and heartthrob status.
Carter’s 30-year career has transcended sold-out arenas, extending into television, film, philanthropy, and publishing. The Backstreet Boys hold the record as the best-selling boy band in history and rank among the world’s top-selling music artistes of all time. They have sold over 130 million records worldwide and earned five Grammy nominations, alongside a number of Billboard Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, American Music Awards, RIAA Awards, People’s Choice Awards, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
In 2002, Carter launched his solo career with his debut album, Now or Never, under Jive Records.
He embarked on his first solo tour in seven years, the Who I Am World Tour, which kicked off in the U.S. in October 2023. The tour followed the release of three new solo singles: “Superman,” “Made for Us,” and “Never Break My Heart (Not Again).
