Prashanth is happy with the response he had received for the film Mambatiyaan.
Produced by Laskshmi Shanthi movie makers, the film is the remake of 80’s super hit film Malayoor Mambatiyaan.
The film directed by Thiagarajan stars Meera Jasmine, Mumaith Khan ,Vijay Kumar,Kota Srinivas Rao,Vadivelu among others.
It seems the actor has started concentrating on his next projects and is also working towards fulfilling two of his New Year resolutions.
He says “It has been three years since I sported the long hair-andbearded look. I did so because both Ponnar-Shankar and Mambattiyaan demanded the kind of image. Now, the first thing I plan to do this year is get back to my clean-shaven look, the kind my audiences have seen and liked in Jeans and Majnu,”.
The actor has three films lined up this year and is pretty much excited about the way his career is looking up.
He will announce his films, which he has signed up with top directors and producers, after Pongal. One of the films will be a dance musical. He has roped in performers from different parts of the world for my films like Jeans (South Africa), Majnu (Poland), Jodi (Canada) and Aayudham (London). This film will be no less. In fact, I will be taking lessons in some of the international dance forms as well.
