The registered wedding took place at Saif's apartment in Bandra this afternoon. Marriage registrar Surekha Ramesh told PTI, "It was a registered marriage with three witnesses - Kareena's father Randhir Kapoor, her mother Babita and Saif's mother Sharmila."

A sit down dinner and mehendi ceremony took place at the Taj Mahal hotel last night.

Another celebration is reportedly planned at the Pataudi Palace, the ancestral home of Khan in northern Haryana state.
