Indian police register complaint against Saif Ali Khan in scuffle case

The 41-year-old actor and his friends have been accused of assaulting Iqbal Sharma, the former Deputy Director General of South Africa's Department of Trade and Industry, along with Sharma's father-in-law following a heated argument while dining at the Taj hotel.
Sharma suffered a broken nose and his father-in-law sustained minor injuries. According to Sharma, the fight broke out after he complained to the restaurant manager that Khan's group was making too much noise, which annoyed the actor and triggered the brawl.
Actress Kareena Kapoor, Khan's girlfriend, was also dining with him at the hotel. Khan and his publicist were not available for comment.
The actor had been earlier accused of assaulting a photojournalist in Patiala in 2008.
