The Barfee actor is likely to bag the lead role in the Hindi remake of Vettai.  It looks like the cast of Lingusamy's Bollywood remake of his Tamil hit, Vettai, is slowly falling into place. While Shahid Kapur will play the role essayed by Arya in the film, the buzz is that the makers have finally found his onscreen love interest. Industry insiders say that Ileana has been approached to be paired opposite Shahid. 

A source has revealed several top actors were considered for the role by Amala Paul, and Ileana has emerged as one of the frontrunners. She was approached a few days ago and showed interest in the role. She is expected to have a talk with the team soon.

A source from the production house also confirms the news: "Ileana has been approached from our side, and we should be signing her up soon." 

Meanwhile, when trying to contact Ileana, her manager said that the actor is currently in Bangkok for a Telugu film directed byPuri Jagannah. He says, "She will be back in India in mid-April. Only after she has her round of discussions with the production team will she be able to take a call." It is now left to see whether Ileana will sign another two-heroine B-town project after Barfee, in which she shares screen space with Priyanka Chopra.
