Channing Tatum's wife Jenna Dewan admits she is still so "proud" that he was recently crowned People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive 2012.
The 31-year-old actress - who met the 'Magic Mike' star, 32, on the set of 2006 dance movie 'Step Up' - has revealed she can't stop boasting about his honour even though it really embarrasses him.
She told People.com: "I am so proud of him. He gets really embarrassed talking about it, but he thinks it's awesome. And I talk about it enough for him, so it's all good!"
The actress is looking forward to enjoying an extended break with her husband over the festive season and said they are planning a beach holiday in the New Year, which will be their first chance to celebrate his successful year.
She said: "Last year we were with my side of the family, so this year we'll be with his side in the south and hopefully sneak a little vacation time in there, too.
"We are so last minute, but I want to be somewhere warm. I love snowy vacations, but this time I'm feeling warmth."
Channing previously admitted he is planning to take a break from acting in 2013.
The 'She's The Man' heartthrob is putting his film career on hold to pursue directing and will step behind the camera next year to work on new projects with the help of his production partner and 'Magic Mike' screenwriter Reid Carolin.
He said: "We have about three to four ideas that we love that are all in the hopper. By the end of next year, we're going to shut things down and write the first thing that we're going to direct.
"We're going to be like, 'Alright, no more acting parts for a minute, let's take a few [moments] and really get caring about that section of our career'."
He is also thought to be working on a 'Magic Mike' sequel following the success of this year's male stripper comedy - which is based on his own experiences growing up - as well as a biopic about iconic daredevil Evil Knievel.
