We reported a couple of months ago, that in keeping with his mother Zeenat Hussain Khan's wish to perform Haj, her elder son Aamir Khan promised to take her for the holy pilgrimage after his return from his shooting schedule in Chicago.

Now we hear from sources, that Aamir who returned to India three days ago for the music launch of Talaash, is all set to go to Mecca.

Apart from his mother, Aamir will be accompanied by an entourage of 12 others. One of the persons going along is a friend of the actor. Reportedly, six bodyguards are also going along to ensure that Aamir and his group stay protected.

Aamir is one those stars who always insists on bodyguards to protect his family more than himself. Even when he travels overseas for shootings or when he is India, he ensures his wife Kiran, his children Junaid, Ira and Azad and his sisters are accompanied by security when they are moving around.
