Aamir and Deepika to be a part of Badminton League

Aamir Khan and Deepika Padukone have been approached to be part of the inaugural Indian Badminton League (IBL) which begins next January.

A source said that Aamir was most likely to be offered the role of brand ambassador while Deepika, whose father is an advisor to the IBL governing council, will probably be a franchisee owner.

There are also plans to rope in Sunil Gavaskar, a badminton aficionado. "He is being approached to play a big role," added our source. The IBL is expected to be launched across Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Nagpur and Lucknow.
