The ‘Hariharan Live in Concert’ scheduled to be held tomorrow at Bloomfield Grounds in Colombo 07, has been cancelled as Indian singer Hariharan will not be coming to Sri Lanka due to unavoidable circumstances.
What "unavoidable circumstances" he is under pressure from the Tamil Nadu politicians, why do we need Indian singers to sing for us, are our singers having any problem in singing for concerts, or are they looking for big bucks.....leave Indian go somewhere else...
A blessing in disguise, indeed. At least now, organizers of these shows including government institutions who stage Tamashas, should make it a point not to invite Indian entertainers and Bollywood actresses by spending millions of rupees. Let us learn to appreciate our own artistes rather than waste foreign exchange on imported enterainers.
