How has life changed, after winning Miss Sri Lanka for Miss Earth?
It feels really good. I never thought of being a beauty queen actually, because of my skin colour. I am the very first Miss Earth Sri Lanka who represented the country in the Miss Earth World Pageant.

I heard that you were in France?
Yeah, I just finished my tour last week. I went for the crowning of Miss Sri Lanka in Europe 2014 contest.

As a national basketball player, do you find it hard to balance beauty and sports?
Yeah, sometimes. But basketball helps me a lot to perform in Sri Lankan and international platforms.  I realised that caring for the skin was very hard because of the sun. I have a  tan,  so it doesn’t make an impact!

How were you as a kid?
I was a very visionary kid. I engaged in all possible activities in school. I loved my classwork, sports, drama, dance etc.

I would pick the most suitable beauty with brains and an attractive girl who has personality, ability and confidence.
 

If you could have plastic surgery right now and change anything about yourself, what would you change?  
I wouldn’t want to do it because my natural beauty is fine.
 

If you could sell your crown, what would you buy?
If I can have my daddy back, I would definitely sell my crown.
