It’s the season of Joy and its always nice to enjoy a warm hug and feel all merry. It is my favourite time of the year and my car looks like I robbed Santa’s workshop – we always want something special during Christmas. It can be a person, a gift or a feeling and I hope you find it, and that’s my wish for you!

“What would you like to see under the tree this Christmas?”

I think the next generation of women in Sri Lanka have a huge responsibility to demand and ensure that there will be equality and human rights for all members of society regardless of gender, sexual orientation or religion.  Since we are more than 50% of the population, we can ensure this when we unite for fair and positive change.

Go hug the person who’s always there for you in good times and bad cause that person sometimes can get tired of being there for everyone... sacrifice one of your coffee dates/dinner outings /shopping sprees and share with someone less fortunate and put a smile on their face.
