23 year old Harshinii Ruman, the 2nd Runner at the Derana Goya Miss Sri Lanka for Miss Earth 2015 was placed 2nd Runner-up at the Miss Tourism Universe 2015, in Lebanon.

 

This beauty hails from Kiribathgoda and was educated at Yoshida Shokanji International school. She has a degree in Business Management and Logistics.

 

 

Her evening dress was done by Kamil Hewaviitharana, Swim wear by Rukshi Fernanndo Seneviratne, of Rum Punch fame and national costume by Venuka Yasasri Wickramaarachchi.

 

She has a 20 year old brother and a 13 year old sister, who helped her perfect her walk, her father and mother, and relatives, who gave her all the encouragement to compete for Sri  Lanka.

 

Her hobbies include Dancing, reading and looking after street dogs.

 

She says she has so many people to thank. Especially Derana for giving her a platform to break into this industry, Jake, Ramani Fernando Salons, who taught her to do her own hair and makeup, Kamil  who helped her with her wardrobe, Rukshi, Venuke,  Monthila and Shanika of Pawara Concepts, who helped her with her  Social Media  and other relative factors, the joint Franchise Directors Asanka Atappattu and Brian Kerkoven.
