Mayumi Fernando at World Next Top Model 

Sri Lankan Mayumi Fernando is currently in Lebanon, competing for the "World Next Top Model 2016" title. 

Founded in July, 2010, Miss World Next Top Model is an international beauty and modelling pageant with the participation of models world over. 

Mayumi thanks her parents, Kamil, Monthila, Shanika, Amanda, Jake, Chatu, Harshani and all the other students of "Walk With Brian Kerkoven ", who have helped her in many ways to reach her goal. 

 

Her friends from outside the industry also helped her travel to Lebanon in style. 

She joined "Walk with Brian Kerkoven", where she was trained to walk the ramp, put on a strict diet, exercise regime etc. 

Asanka Atapattu and Brian Kerkoven singled her out and nominated her to be Sri Lanka's representative, competing with 45 girls from different countries. 

 

 

 

Ravi of Kelly Felder was one of the few who helped her, by sponsoring her, with casual wear outfits, whilst her evening dress was designed by Brian Kerkoven. 

The pageant final is scheduled to take place on May 31 at Grand Hills Hotel, Broumana.
